Rear Extension - Permitted Development

Our clients wanted to achieve a larger kitchen and dining area that was open plan and felt open, light and spacious. We opened up the rear of the property and added large bifold doors to achieve this.

This allowed open views out into the garden and light into the new space. Additional roof lights were also added to maximise light during winter months.

The brief for this project was to extend over the side garage and over the existing front porch extension. This created larger bedrooms at first floor and an improved dining and kitchen area at ground.

Extending over a side garage can be a great way to add extra space for a bedroom.

The brief for this project was to create a new entertainment space with large bi-fold doors opening up onto a deck. The space was divided so that half would be used independently as a separate living space. 

A new porch with additional WC was created to the front and a large open plan kitchen rear extension. The resulting space to the rear allowed open views to the large garden and plenty of natural light in a previously dark interior.

This project involved the removal of the existing conservatory roof and windows and adding three large windows and patio doors. The resulting internal space allowed for a larger kitchen and sun room.
